Work will be undertaken over a 12-month period, as part of the development of a single early years formula, examining, in particular: the current mix of provision and the current approach to funding; diversity issues, and how they impact across the County; any sufficiency issues and where they occur; the impact of the ‘London effect’ on costs; deprivation issues; and local mechanisms that exist to hear provider views.
