Following on from the announcement of the local government provisional finance settlement 2013/14 on 19 December 2012, LG Futures has provided support to over 150 local authorities. This has included a bespoke briefing for each authority, on the evening of the settlement, in addition to subsequent dedicated telephone support.

Following on from initial benchmarking work undertaken at Herefordshire Council, LG Futures has been commissioned to carry out ‘deeper dive’ adult social care benchmarking analysis for the authority.

The House of Commons has commissioned LG Futures to deliver bespoke Finance for Managers training, to be provided to its staff at the end of 2012 and into 2013.

Following on from a review of budget forecasting models used within the Social Care, Health and Housing Directorate at LB Hillingdon, LG Futures has been commissioned to carry out further work to develop more detailed models for future use within the borough; in particular, to cover financial planning.
