LG Futures has been appointed by West Sussex CC to examine possible options for reform to the local government finance system. The research will include an examination of the impact of the current data used to inform the Relative Needs Formulae (RNF) for West Sussex; resource equalisation; the current funding floor mechanism; and specific grant regimes.
