LG Futures has provided regional briefings attended by over 80 delegates, to support effective medium term financial planning and decision making arising from the localisation of support for council tax. The events have drawn upon LG Futures’ research and practical work in developing and applying a model for estimating the potential financial implications of the localisation of support for council tax, which is currently being widely used across local government. In addition, a number of bespoke events have also been held on-site for individual authorities and groups of authorities.
